New York State Health Commissioner, Dr. Richard Daines, wants to ban the use of multi-dose vials in the wake of the Long Island Doctor, Harvey Finkelstein, who inappropriately reused syringes. Finkelstein is known to have infected at least one person with Hepatitis C and risked infecting thousands more over a five-year period.
Good idea Commish. You might also want to think about banning doctors who reuse syringes. Just a thought.
