Another fast food joint has gone off the deep. First there was Whataburger in Texas posting wacky signs informing customers that they were giving up their legal rights once they stepped foot on the property - even if they served up some lethal ecoli with their whataburgers.
Now we have the Krystal Restaurant (not to be confused with the pricey champagne) in North Georgia allegedly strip searching three black employees over a missing $100 bucks. The manager who apparently also doubles as a gumshoe didn't search the white employee whose cash register was short the money. Luckily for the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, which has filed suit, this didn't happen at Whataburger!
Maybe there is something in the meat at these two joints.
As an aside, strangely, nothing like this every happened at the
Dairy Queen in Eagan, Minnesota where I used to work in high school.
