Good News from Tennessee

Ah, Tennessee, the birthplace of both Country Music and the Blues.  However, it is not the music, but some bad legislation (that is off the table at the moment) that has us clapping our hands.

Yesterday ended a long and heated battle over a bad bill that would have taken away the rights of nursing home patients in the state.  A Judiciary Subcommittee voted to study the issue through next year, effectively deferring the issue for the remainder of the session.
