So said the brave Christina Catalano, whose mom is pictured here, as she “seized the microphone”
during the Detroit autoshow speech by Chrysler/Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne.

Chrysler
and GM will not compensate anyone injured or killed by
defective cars if the accident occurred before the bankruptcies. There are over 1,000 families who have
been shafted by these companies. Some have catastrophic injuries. Many are children.
Christina and many others have been trying to get both the
companies and Congress
to do something about this. Chrysler
and GM are still refusing to help.
Kudos to Christina Catalano and her brother Brian for keeping this issue alive in
light of so many painful, uncompensated and needless injuries deaths. They are not going to stop. We hope the auto companies survive. But Chrysler and GM need to do the right thing for those they have hurt.
