John Guyette

John graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 2003 with a B.A. in Political Science and History. Born and raised in the Midwest, to this day John remains an avid Badgers fan and a lover of cheese curds.  John relocated to New York City in 2005 and currently serves as a senior field organizer at the Center for Justice & Democracy.  Prior to joining the CJ&D team, John was the Chief of Staff and Campaign Manager to NYC City Council Member Tony Avella. His other professional endeavors include journeying across the country to work on various issue advocacy projects in Wisconsin, South Dakota, Missouri, and Pennsylvania. In addition to fighting to protect people's legal rights and preserving the civil justice system, John also enjoys traveling and has recently picked up a hobby in photography.
